Be Present!
This week our students dig in deeper to the Other People Matter Mindset wit a focus on Being Present.
What is the Other People Matter Mindset? This mindset is taking the time to look beyond ourselves. Recognizing the feelings, love, and care within others. Furthermore, it is important to recognize them as individuals and recognize they matter.
This week we will continue to build this mindset by identifying the benefits of being present. Often our days are busy and we are not fully present. But when we stop and take a moment to reflect or see the good in others the world around us changes.
Students this week will be practicing seeing the good in others and being appreciative as they build their other people matter mindset. #OtherBucsMatter #BuccaneerPride

Please use these quotes and discuss with your child what they learn about Open-mindedness this week.

7 Things Families Should Know About Face Coverings
Face coverings are an additional step to help slow the spread of COVID-19 when combined with everyday preventive actions and social distancing in public settings. When we return to school, students will be required to wear masks while on the school grounds. Students will be able to take outside mask breaks and remove their masks during lunch. Teachers will begin instructing students this week about practices such as mask wearing this week as a way of helping them prepare for the transition back to school.

Estar
