Principal's Message
Dear Wildcats,
Here is hoping you are enjoying your Super Bowl Sunday!
This week's announcements are here for you.
- PLC: Objective for this week: PLC: K-1 Teachers will plan for guaranteed TEKS and create action plans to improve MAP growth data for EOY MAP. 2nd-5th grade teachers will data conference PSA2 or Released Data & create action plans for next testing administration window.
- Mid Year GPCs/Parent Conferences: Each teacher shall meet with parents of students that are struggling and/or not meeting grade level expectations. Ensure you fill out GPC form and have Parent Notification Letter signed by parent.
- Progress Reports: Due to incomplete progress reports, the delivery date to parents has been delayed. They will need to be sent home with students on Monday.
- Faculty Mtg: Bring your lesson planning mind!
- Running Records: The original running record deadline to input into data sheets was Feb. 2nd. At the last team leader meeting, we agreed to extend the deadline to input the data, however teachers need that data to report to parents for parent conferences. Be prepared to report that to parents.
Again, thank you for all you do! You make me so proud!
Wildcat Love,
Rachel Martinez

- Hooray Ann for taking our little book worms out to explore new books and meet author's at Bookworm Fest.
- Many thanks to Yezenia & Olga for organizing the Father Daughter Dance Invitations.
- Extra round of applause for Rachel M, Maria L, Ashley, Romina, Kritzia, & Noe for unprecedented dedication to plan for their students on Saturday morning with Mrs. Martinez! Going above and beyond is noted!
I know there are many unsung heroes out there that I did not get to mention. If you see someone out there going above and beyond and want me to recognize them on cat tracks, please send me an email.
PBIS and Project Class
Project Class: Mrs. Donnely and Mrs. Futch are continuing their classroom observations. Ask questions, have them model a lesson, have them model a strategy, ask for suggestions on strategies that you have tried, but have had little success. They are here to help and support you any way they can.
PBIS:
To meet our parent/school two way communication goal, we want to administer a mid year survey to our parents while they are on campus for parent/teacher conferences. Each teacher will need to set up 2 computers with the survey that is available on Google Docs. A roster will be placed in your box on Monday. Please highlight the parents that take the survey and turn in your roster to Ms. Rodriguez's box by Monday, Feb. 12th. Our goal is 100% participation from each teacher. The PBIS cadre will review this data at our next meeting. Thank you all for your continued support!
Library Notes
I will be out in the afternoon on Monday due to meetings. Please do not send students to the library without yourself.
