Campus Wildly Important Goals (WIGs) for 16-17
2. Increase the overall student attendance rate from 96.7% to 96.8% for the 16-17 school year.
3. In Cypress classrooms, we will directly connect the 7 habits to student academic, personal and community success at least 2,500 times from October - June of the 16-17 school year.

7 Habit Focus this Week: Circle of Control ~ What do I have control over? What are things I cannot control?
- Activity Idea: Draw 1 circle inside another and have students come up with examples of what is in their circle of control and what is not. List the examples of what is within their control inside the smaller, internal circle. List the items of what is not in their control in the larger outer circle.

7 Habit Focus this Week: Growth Mindset ~ Do I think with a fixed or a growth mindset? How can I have more of a growth mindset?
- Activity Idea: read "The Day the Crayons Quit." Talk about whether or not this book demonstrates a fixed or growth mindset. Have the children make a chart of how to speak/think with a growth mindset vs. a fixed mindset.
