FISH FRY TOMORROW

The K of C Council #1121 (Washington) will have a fish fry TOMORROW at the K of C Hall in Washington from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. to benefit St. Gertrude School and St. Ann.

Cost: Adults $11.00, Children (6-11) $5.00, Children (5 and under) FREE.


We are asked to provide desserts. Desserts may be dropped off at the K of C Hall after 10:00 a.m. that day. Please enter through the "office doors" on the north side of the building during the day or bring them with you to the dinner. You may also send them to school with your child and we will deliver them.

ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION NEWS

That time of year again! All SGS sports registrations are DUE FEBRUARY 28th! There is NO extension this year. If you do not register by this date, you will incur a LATE FEE. Teams must be determined in order to schedule games with other schools. Forms can be found on Fast Direct: Fast direct/planner/Tina Van Booven (Please do not forget your concession stand agreement page also.)


The Athletic Association is also looking for a few volunteers to join this fun & exciting board! We thank our current members for your years of excellent service! Treasurer: Collect monies and report on financial status of the AA account.

Basketball Director: In charge of basketball equipment and assist in scheduling.

Spirit Director: Coordinate spirit nights, pictures and sports banquet.

Information Director: Communicates important information between AA Board and sports families.

Purchasing Manager: Oversees concession stand purchasing and stocking.

2 General Board Members: Voting members and assist when & where needed.


For the 2020-2021 fall volleyball season, we are looking for volleyball referees. Must have completed high school and take the God’s Protecting Children class. Pays $30 per game. Please contact Diane if interested. frickd@sgs-krakow.com / 636-359-1457.


Save the date: Sunday, April 19th, Sports Banquet! Starting with 10:30 a.m. Mass, followed by a meal, awards, fun and games! All SGS sports families are invited. More information will be coming...

SHORTS, SKIRTS, SKORTS, JUMPERS - MARCH 2nd

Just a reminder that beginning March 2nd students may wear shorts again. They may also wear skirts, skorts and jumpers without leggings. They MUST be appropriate length of no more than 1 inch above the knee or they will have to wear leggings underneath.

SPRING RESALE

It's almost Spring time! Have your kids outgrown those uniforms you bought at the beginning of the year? Here is your opportunity to purchase some gently used uniforms to get them through the rest of the year. We will be having a uniform resale on March 4th and 5th from 2:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. in the school “Writing Lab” (located by the Library). Please enter through the front doors of school by the office.

GOLF - PARENT MEETING

There will be a parent meeting on March 5 at 7:00 p.m. in the cafeteria for any students who are playing golf at SGS.

NEW'S QUIZ WINNER

Congratulations to sixth grade student, Joe Zagarri, for winning this week’s News Quiz. Joe was selected in a random drawing from all entries this week – and had the correct answers! He will receive a $15 gift card from one of our Missourian In Education News Quiz sponsors: Imo’s Pizza in Washington and Union and Sugarfire Smoke House in Washington.

SCRIP CREDIT

The last date to order SCRIP and get credit toward your SGS tuition for this school year will be Monday, March 23rd. Scrip order forms can be found on Fast Direct/Planner/Tina Van Booven.

DINNER AUCTION - SAVE THE DATE
