BACK TO SCHOOL IMMUNIZATIONS
All students need to be up-to-date with their shots before returning to school in the fall. Grayson County Health Department is a provider for the Texas Vaccine For Children Program through the Texas Department of State Health Services. The cost per child is $20 (cash only), each child must have a current/complete immunization record, each child must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. See the forms below for more information.
Also, medications (prescription/non-prescription) brought to school need to be picked up by a parent by the last day of school or they will be disposed of by the school nurse. They will not be sent home in the child's backpack nor kept in the clinic for the next school year.
If you have any questions, please contact, Mackenzie Smith at (903) 482-8826.

NORTH TEXAS US SERVICE ACADEMIES FORUM
Students learn more about the application process, life at an academy, and opportunities beyond. This forum is held every April in the D/FW area, and usually about 800+ students and parents attend. Representatives, current students, and graduates from each of the five military academies address the audience with expanded information and an “inside look”, and alternative ROTC programs are detailed as well. Attendance is not a requirement to apply for a nomination or academy appointment, but the forum content can be extremely helpful to students.
