From the Desk of Mrs. Rivera
Let's talk about parent involvement. As principal, I would like to emphasize the importance of parent involvement in your child's education. Research shows that students whose parents are actively engaged in their schooling tend to perform better academically and have a more positive attitude towards school.
Parent involvement can be anything from volunteering at school events to simply discussing school activities and homework with your child. By being involved, you are demonstrating to your child the value you place on their education and showing them that you care about their success.
One way to stay informed and involved is by attending parent-teacher conferences and school events. These opportunities allow you to discuss your child's progress with their teacher, as well as learn about the school's programs and initiatives. Additionally, volunteering at school events, such as the class mystery reader or Parents Club events, not only shows your support for the school but also gives you the opportunity to meet other parents and staff members.
Another way to be involved is by regularly communicating with your child's teacher and staying informed about their schoolwork and activities. You can ask about their strengths and weaknesses and work together with the teacher to support your child in areas where they may need extra help.
Finally, talking with your child about their day, their schoolwork, and their interests can also help build a positive relationship with the school and help your child see the importance of education in their life.
By being involved, you are demonstrating your support for your child and their education and helping to create a positive, nurturing learning environment. Thank you for your ongoing commitment to your child's education, and I look forward to seeing you around campus!
We hope you have a wonderful weekend, and make sure to check out next week's edition on Friday at 4:00!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Rivera

100 Days Smarter!
The 100th day of school is celebrated in American schools around the world, as it commemorates an important milestone for children, especially those in the lower grades. It provides an opportunity for classes to reflect on all that they have learned and what they look forward to learning in the future.
Check out the cutest 100 year olds I have ever seen!
