VOCABULARY HAT PARADE
On Monday, March 2nd CHES celebrated READ ACROSS AMERICA DAY with our annual Vocabulary Hat Parade. What creative students we have! We had students from each grade level who won prizes for their hats! (see the picture below) Thank you to all our parents who assisted their children with their AWESOME Hats!
Core Value for March -- Forgiveness
Our Big Idea this month is forgiveness. Forgiveness is deciding that someone who has wronged you doesn’t have to pay.

TAG Program - Lottery Time!

PLEASE NOTE...
- Students who are at the school through the Lottery DO NOT have to enter the lottery again. your sea is good for next year and the year after that as well!
- Those students who were newly identified (this school year) in 3rd grade, 2nd grade grade and 1st grade must apply to cement their TAG seat at CHES.
- When you apply to a TAG Center Program online, it will tell you what is your TAG Boundary School and that is the one that you must apply to.
- We are not sure if there will be TAG special transfers this year...contact Pupil Accounting and Boundaries for more information. Office Number: 301-952-6300
CHES PTSA NEWS...
Just a reminder...we have open positions for the 2020-2021 School year! Our PTSA needs you!!
The positions that are available are: President, Treasurer, and Secretary
Elections will take place in May 2020. If you are interested, contact our PTSA!
PTSA SPONSORED SCHOLASTIC BOOK FAIR - Volunteers will be needed for our PTSA Sponsored Book Fair which will start on March 13.
