Happy Friday!
Awesome week at Roosevelt! Thank you to everyone who came to our wonderful Fall Band Concert on Wednesday night! Our Concert Band and Wildcat Band played beautifully under the leadership of our fabulous band director Greg Anderson. We are so proud of the progress they have made, and are very excited to see how much they grow by the end of this year.
If you didn't have an opportunity to see the Band Concert, you have another chance to see them play tomorrow at the Vista Unified Festival of the Arts, Flyer. Attendance: Attendance is key to student success! Please encourage your student to attend school every day and arrive on time. Remember, absences must be cleared within 72 hours (3 school days) after student returns to school. We also appreciate when you schedule dental/doctor appointments outside of the school day to avoid instructional interruptions.
Safety Reminder: Parents, please remind your students to use the crosswalk when arriving or leaving school. The heavy traffic makes it unsafe for students because drivers may not see them as they cross the street.
