Junior Day of Caring-
On Thursday, September 16th, students from Avon High School volunteered their time at Hickory Elementary for their Day of Caring. Eighteen high school juniors volunteered their time to work on projects or engage with students in related arts. The high schoolers were able to help students in Music, PE, STEM, and Library. They repainted the buddy benches, hung bulletin boards, and created ribbon artwork for the hallway. These students were kind, thoughtful, and caring. Avon schools is extremely lucky to have such amazing leaders in our high school!

Reminders from the School Nurse-
~ Please send your child to school with a mask. It is important that these are appropriately sized for your child. Ear loop face masks tend to work better than the gaiter style.
~ Also, please remember to send a water bottle to school with your child every day. Staying hydrated is important, and drinking fountains are not available for use.
~ If your child has had to borrow clothing from the clinic due to a potty accident or spill, please wash and return these items to school
~ Lastly, if you received a message from me indicating that I am missing your child's most up-to-date immunization record, please make every effort to submit that to school as soon as possible.
Thank you for your help in these important matters!
