Now is Not the Time for Perfection But For Connection
When our students think back on this time in their lives, they will remember how they felt and how they were connected. This is where we can play a big part. Connecting with our students is the best thing we can do at present. We are a relationship-based campus and continuing our relationships right now is essential. Thank you for making connections with your students and each other.
This newsletter has some ideas you can use to build community with your students during your advisory time. These are not "must-dos" by any means but rather helpful (hopefully) supports. If you have additional community-building and connecting ideas that we can do with our students - please add them to this list above which is an editable google document or email Amy Ishee at amy.ishee@austinisd.org.
