6th Grade Engineers
Sixth grade CAPS (Clinton Accelerated Program) students are preparing to take part in the 2019 Online Rube Goldberg Machine Contest.
The goal is to create a machine that uses a chain reaction to accomplish a task in an overcomplicated manner. For this contest, students have the task of creating a machine that will put a coin in a piggy bank.

AP Biology Students Create Film
Students in Mr. Tennal's CHS AP (Advanced Placement) biology class have been busy!
Students are studying cellular respiration and are in the process of making a stop motion film to explain how glucose is turned into energy (ATP) and waste (C02).
Stay tuned for their finished products!
Polar Bear Week
It was recently Polar Bear Week in Mrs. Munsterman's 5th grade class.
Students used a variety of print and digital sources to research information about these creatures. After conducting research and compiling their information, students had the opportunity to construct polar bear dens out of marshmallows and toothpicks.

FRANK MESH
From a student to an employee, this Clinton Technical School instructor is proud to call himself a life-long Cardinal!
Frank Mesh is originally from Blue Springs, MO, but moved to Clinton when he was just a few years old. He is a proud 2006 graduate of CHS and is currently the Computer Information Systems Instructor at CTS.
Like all of the district's CTS instructors, Frank brings several years of "real world" experience to his students. Frank brings experience from working in the IT department of Sac-Osage Hospital, working for CISC (a local computer and network company) and then was hired by the district to work in the IT department.
Frank is happily married to his wife, Rikki Mesh, who is also a fellow CHS graduate and a special education teacher at Clinton Intermediate School. Frank and Rikki have two cats, Louie and Penelope and a dog named Faith.
In his spare time, Frank enjoys catching up on Netflix shows with his wife, hanging out and playing video games with his two best friends Kyle and Cody, watching all of the superhero movies that come out, and continuing to study and learn in his field of work.
"The school district is like one giant family. Being a former student, I feel really connected to not only the district, but my former teachers. It's really cool getting to teach a class I was a former student of. My coworkers at CTS are the best group of people to be around. They always make things fun, and it's never a dull moment. I'm fortunate enough to really enjoy the people I get to work with."
