As a district, we adhere to the policy of communication taking place between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm, Monday - Thursday, and 8:00am - 4:00pm on Fridays. Please keep in mind, if you email or send a message through our communication portal, Class Dojo on Friday after 4:00 pm, you will receive a response on Monday or the upcoming school day. The School Counselor (Cindy Fenske) visited the classroom this week We read the book "The Choices I Make". We discussed what happens to our bodies when we get mad/upset. We also talked about the consequences of those actions. The class practiced two strategies that could calm us down prior to making poor decisions. Ask your student what those are and share what you use.
