What's Up in the Classroom?
Spelling - Students will have a new word sort next week. They did not have one for this week since it's so short!!
Social Studies - We started our American Indian study today. Students will learn about the original inhabitants of Wisconsin and the important role in the settlement of the United States that they played. They will also learn about the current status of local tribes and the positive and negative interactions of American Indians with Euro-American people and the American government. Finally, students will learn about how the American Indians perspective on land differs from the Europeans and Americans.
