BE SAFE, BE RESPONSIBLE AND BE RESPECTFUL.
Playground Behaviour - Gold Cards
Students who receive a gold card for good behaviour/actions go into a school assembly draw to win a prize.
Two winners will be drawn each week.
The teachers give gold cards to students showing our school values: Excellence, Respect, Confidence, Sensitivity, Tolerance and Honesty and the Key Competencies: Managing Self, Participating and Contributing, Thinking and Relating to Others.
Playground Behaviour- Timeout Cards
Students who receive a Time Out card spend a set time on the school’s administration deck to consider their actions and to set goals to improve.
Time Out cards are given where students have not followed the school’s values and key competencies. Some examples include: swearing, hitting, throwing sand, bullying, not listening to a staff member, misbehaviour on the school bus (standing up, moving around, verbal and physical inappropriate behaviour)
School Lunches
Our vision: Waipipi Students are successful learners, who communicate
confidently, and interact positively with others.
