Message From Mr. Dignan

Hello Eagle families,

It is difficult to believe there are only four weeks left in the semester. We will be finishing credit #4 on Friday, November 20. Now is the time for students to step it up and get it done. Teachers are eager to help students make up missing work and negotiate plans to earn back missing credits.

Every credit earned this semester in one less to be earned towards getting a diploma. Remember, if a student earns an overall passing grade (70% or higher), the student will earn all 5 credits (10 credits for seniors) in a class.

We got this!

EMPLOYEE OF THE WEEK

Mrs. Stephanie Medina

Mrs. Stephanie Medina joined our staff this year and has been exceptional. She came from Tennessee, but has roots in California. It didn’t take long at all for everyone to see how great of an educator and addition to our staff that she is. Mrs. Medina holds a degrees in physics and music. She has taught high school math and sciences for eight years.

Mrs. Medina has a “go get em“ personality. She is good at problem solving and coming up with solutions for education and students. She has gone above and beyond this year, not only taking on both math and the first physics course ever offered at RVHS, but also becoming our WEBMaster. She has provided many tech teaching zooms for both staff and students. She has a willingness to help out wherever she can and if you get the chance to meet her in person you will get to experience her kind and loving personality.

She is a big support to our staff and students when it comes to online learning. When she isn’t at school teaching class, giving tech tips, or just impressing people with her wicked Excel wizardry, she enjoys spending time with her husband and playing music. We are lucky to have her on our staff and are excited to be a part of her journey as an educator. She has made all of us smarter and tech savvier. Thanks for your hard work and dedication to our school.

Mrs Stephanie Medina you are our employee of the week.
