Tisch's Tidbits

I can't believe how wonderful the weather was this weekend! Who would of thought we would have been in shorts playing outside? Ok-maybe the kids were doing this. I was inside cooking and doing laundry. Anyhow, this week we will have a social studies test over the first four lessons in unit 2. We are taking a pause with weather and erosion since we are completing a super fun activity called Save the Penguins! Since this, along with some other exciting activities, is taking up our time, along with Friday's schedule being so crazy, we will not have a spelling test this week. On Friday, we are finishing up our mouse trap activity in STEM which has also been a great deal of fun!

Thank you again for all of your support at home, along with your support of me this year. I am truly thankful for each of you! I adore this class of fourth graders and will never forget them. :) I hope you have a wonderful break making memories! I'm looking forward to 2016!

Book Exchange

Thank you for turning in so many of the books for the upcoming book exchange! They are almost all here. :) Feel free to turn in the wrapped gift with the person's name of who it is to tomorrow if you haven't already done so. The kids are SO excited!

Spirit Day

Be ready to roll out of bed this Friday in your jammies! The next upcoming spirit day is PJ and/or SLIPPER DAY! All proceeds will go towards purchasing stuffed animals for the children at Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital. Please help encourage your child to donate and support the cause!

Union Express

Union Express is up and running. Remember, your mail will not be delivered without the proper address and stamp. If you need to print a stamp from home they can be found on the PTO link under Union Express as well as the full addresses.
