It is my hope that you work with your child at home each night on reading and math skills for all grade levels. We need our students to feel confident in these areas so that they can deepen their understanding in all areas. All students in grades 3-8 should know multiplication facts. All students should be able to read on their grade level. It takes all of us working together to help make your child successful in the classroom, home, and life. Thank you for your help with this matter. Set some family goals with your children that pertain to academics but also life. For example: Read one book per month as a family, spend time playing board games, exercise as a family, etc.
Ask your child what their goals are that they have gone over with their teachers.
