TEE: Focus on Well-Being

As always, feel free to revisit the previous week's MTSS News (linked above). In last week's edition, we included resources for the MTSS Components and some guiding questions for TEE. This week, we are sharing a TSD resource that addresses the Thompson Educational Expectations (TEE). It uses prevention-based thinking and encourages the creation of an enabling context for learning.

Promoting Practices for Well-Being was crafted by our Learning Services Student Success SEL and Wellness Coordinators. The intent is to assist educators implementing at the school-level. This extremely helpful tool provides: example ideas, scripts, and application considerations. It cites the TEE Compass, and you can see how all of the TEE Compass Points are represented in this guidance.

This is a great time of year to begin using these approaches or to refine your existing efforts!

"Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.
We are caught in an inescapable network of mutuality,
tied in a single garment of destiny. Whatever
affects one directly, affects all indirectly."
