- monounsaturated fats are fats molecules that have one unsaturated carbon bond in the molecule, this is also called a double bond.
- Polyunsaturated fat can be found mostly in nuts, seeds, fish, algae, and krill
- Fats help us even if we think it hurts us WE need fats
- Olive oil is the best type of fat that you can have that is good for you
Bad Fats
- A saturated fat is a fat that consists of triglycerides containing only saturated fatty acids
- trans fat and saturated fats are not good for you because they increase your risk of disease and elevate cholesterol
- The American Heart Association recommends that we get 20% to 35% of our calories from fat.But we get 34% or more fats in out diet
