Message from the Principal
Greetings Standing Bear!
We are very excited to welcome kids into our virtual classrooms on Tuesday, August 18th! This is a new process for all of us and we need to work together to ensure students get the very best we can give them during this time. Teachers have been working very hard for weeks on learning to navigate this virtual environment. It is important that we all remember this is unprecedented times and to understand that we are relying on technology as our main platform, which can bring its own challenges. We are fortunate to have access to personal iPads, online curriculum, and various other supporting apps at our finger tips. It is a new experience, but together we will make this a positive learning experience for our cubs.
It is critically important that we ensure students are actively engaged in learning, even when we use the remote instructional model. As we look toward a return to in-person learning when possible, daily participation now will ensure students are on track and prepared for the full day of instruction at school. We understand no solution is ideal and there are specific challenges a family may face to attend daily classes remotely. We will work together to support each Standing Bear student.
This newsletter contain multiple links to assist you with technology. However, if you have any questions please reach out to us here at school.

For the safety and security of our students and this building, we will not be allowing visitors into the building at this time.
Drop Off Zone
We ask that you please continue to pull all the way down to the second crosswalk if possible (by main front doors). We can then unload around 10 vehicles rather than 5. We will be using the School Messenger (Robo call or email) to communicate this year. Please make sure to contact the office if you need to update your contact information.
