FRIDAY: **LIVE** Reflections Art Contest Workshop for Students During Lunch (Oct 15)

PTSA is hosting a Reflections Art Contest Workshop for students, Friday, October 15, during lunch in the library. Students will learn about the program, category rules and guidelines, how to and how to submit their electronic entries. Reflections is open to ALL Reed Students. You do NOT have to be a PTSA member to participate.

Entry Deadline: November 7th.

Theme: "I Will Change the World By...."

Wow! We have already collected $15,000 towards our goal of $50,000 by the end of December. Let's keep it going! Remember, we're aiming for 100% participation at any level that works for your family, whether that’s $10, $100, or $1,000.

Last week for NJHS Milk & Bookies Drive:

Students who donate 5 or more gently used or new children's books (Grades Pre-K - 5) by Friday will earn an invite to a Milk & Cookies party on October 22nd. Donations can be dropped in Rm 150. Books will be donated to the YMCA and Langdon Elementary School. Learn More.

Lunch Application = $$$ for Reed

The LAUSD lunch application is DIRECTLY tied to Title I school funding that is critical to our school!

We NEED every family to fill out a lunch application ASAP.

Yes - Even if you did it last year.

Yes - Even though lunch is free this year.

Yes - Even if your child doesn't eat or want the school lunch.

Yes - Regardless of status and whether or not you qualify for free-reduced lunch
