Back to School at WSE
Coming Back Highlights
Note from Mrs. Bailey
Are you ready? We are all working feverishly to make this year a great year for your child at WSE. Though we know times are still somewhat crazy and (as much as I am sick of hearing it) unprecedented - we are determined to make the best of the situation we are in and use our creative minds and talents to create a learning environment that is safe and enjoyable at WSE. We are looking forward to working closely with you to achieve that goal. If you ever have any questions, ideas, or suggestions, please do not hesitate to contact me or anyone in my office. We see our WSE community as family and want to work together to conquer this school year safely and successfully. Be expecting communication from me, my office, your child's teachers, and the district throughout this next week in preparation for the start of school on the 23rd. 8. Students do not have to be 6' apart, but will be spaced farther apart for lunch than pre-covid.

10. Please see district COVID plan HERE.
Drop Off / Pick Up
- All drop off students will enter the building through the front doors. (Bussed students enter through the cafeteria doors.) Please wait until 7:40-7:50 to drop off children not eating breakfast if possible unless they are scheduled for morning tutoring. Do not drop off students from the parking lot identified ⌀ - always follow the red path.
- Please see the drop off/pick up maps below and follow accordingly. Do not exit property on to Walnut turning left. This backs up traffic and creates unsafe conditions for our students. Enter Walnut street by turning RIGHT ONLY. Please pull up to the farthest drop off spot that is empty when dropping off students.
- When picking up students, families will be given pick up tags to hang from the rear view mirror or bring to walk-up. These tags must be current and visible to be allowed in pick up lines. If there is no pick up tag visible, you will be asked to park and show identification at the office to pick student up. (Don't forget to fill out this form.)During picking up, a staff member will be in the drive recording numbers from the vehicle pick up tag to communicate the staff in the building to release your child for pick-up. Please pull up to where your child is waiting. If you do not see your child ready for pick up, please pull forward past the mailbox and wait until your child arrives.
- If you would like to walk your child into school, you may park in the parking lot with the blue star and enter through the front doors of the school.
- If you are a walk-up parent picking up your child, you can (park in area with blue star) stand in line at the green circle for your child to be released. (don't forget pick-up tag.)
- Please remember everyone must have a pick up pass with number to pick up students. If you have not gotten the temporary number email, please complete the request for tag form here.
- If picking student up early, your child will need signed out in the office, please bring ID. (Must be on pick-up list, or parent will be called.)
