Vote! We are a polling place on Saturday!
There is an election day tomorrow. As a parent, you have an important chance to let your voice be heard by voting. If you are a registered voter, please educate yourself about the issues before you and go vote. Your vote makes a huge difference. There are some constitutional amendments on the ballot that do apply to schools.
And, if you can, let your kids go with you so they see the process and understand how it all works. That would make a great win-win. You let your voice be heard and your kids learn how democracy works.
STAAR REMINDERS
Be sure your child gets to be early the night before test days, eats a good breakfast that morning, and brings a snack to school. We want to avoid testing stress! Simply encourage your child to do their best.
PLEASE REMEMBER DURING THE FOLLOWING TESTING DATES WE ASK THAT YOU TRY TO AVOID SCHEDULING APPOINTMENTS FOR TESTING STUDENTS.
