Mohave Indians were farming people whose name for them selves was hamahavhos translates to which been translated to mean people who live in water. they lived in either southwestern Arizona or California.
traditional clothing
Mohave Indians traditionally wore little to no clothing. Mohave men would usually no more than loincloth, while women wore simple animal skin pelts or robes during the cold weather. The Mohave did not wear moccasins; instead, they generally went barefoot or wore simple sandals.
