Panther Pause

21 years of Pride at Colleyville Heritage High School

9.29.17

Panthers,

Wow!! What a fun week!! Homecoming is always such an exciting time at a high school, it always takes the normally high energy level to a whole other level. I know it has been a fun week for our students and staff. Last night was a great event for all of our student groups. I enjoyed seeing performances that were full of PRIDE throughout the night; from the football team to the students that were cheering them on to victory. I think this is one of the things that sets CHHS a part from so many other schools, because our students support each other on the field and, more importantly, in the classroom.

Over the past week, I had the opportunity to spend time in classrooms seeing what our students and teachers are accomplishing on a daily basis. It is amazing to see what our students are able to accomplish when they work together with their peers and teachers alike. This week, I visited a class where students were debating a myriad of topics that led to a level of learning that we could not create through other assignments. It truly was an amazing experience to witness.

Have a great weekend and GO PANTHERS!!

Student Voice

Define what PRIDE at CHHS means to you.

PRIDE at CHHS means never giving up while still remembering to have integrity, and never forgetting who we are or what we represent. As a Panther at CHHS, having PRIDE is putting forth one's best efforts and being proud of it, despite if it's a win or a loss. All in all, I am proud to be able to all myself a Colleyville Heritage High School Panther.
