Three Companies that Marketed Themselves the Best
2. Under Armour made a HUGE comeback this year. With its main athlete, Stephen Curry, releasing two shoe editions, the Curry 1 and Curry 2, and tons of apparel after having a break out year, winning MVP and the NBA championship in the 2014-15 season and getting a 24 game winning streak and closing out 2015 as the NBA's top scoring in the 2015-16 season, business for Under Armour has boomed. Commercials for Under Armour have hit records for its amount of views on YouTube. With other breakout athlete endorsements, such as Jordan Speith, Tom Brady, Bryce Harper, Julio Jones, Michael Phelps, Under Armour is making a competitive run with Nike.
3. Apple marketed itself extremely well. With the release of the iPhone 6s, which set records for sales with 13 million sold, it had an extremely successful year. This is all because of its advertising and work to differentiate itself. It had ads all over the place, and especially on the Super Bowl, which was for its Music app, which was highly improved in 2015. Apple is doing great and had a great year in 2015.

2. Furious 7 was a very emotional, being the finale of the Furious movies after the death of the great Paul Walker. Social media boomed after his death, and the movie became a tribute to Paul Walker. It spent a lot of money into advertising, as it has the all-time highest Weekly TV spend for movie commercials. A lot of companies teamed up with Furious 7, such as Xbox One, which released a game for the movie, GoPro, and Chrysler, Dodge, and Jeep, which all supplied cars for the movie.

2. Kendrick Lamar had a very successful year, releasing a top album, To Pimp a Butterfly. He was on a world tour year round. He appeared on The Tonight Show and Saturday Night Live as well. On top of that, he directed videos and received a "Best Direction" award at the MTV VMA's. Kendrick Lamar has always been known for his poetic and inspiring songs, as they also inspired and fueled the Black Lives Matter movement in 2015. He was all over the place.
