You made it! The first week of school is in the books!
First Week of School
For the first day of school only, we will allow all parents to walk students down to the classrooms. Breaux and Powell will be around to assist parents with departing the building. On Wednesday-Friday, parents of kindergarten and 1st grade students will be allowed to walk their children down to the classroom. After the first week of school, parents will be asked to drop students off in the loop or at the entrance.
Shout Outs!
Irizarry, Bly, and Parker, you all have worked your tails off this last week getting student enrolled, purchasing items for staff and families, and getting ready for all the details of the first week back with students. Thank you for all you have done to welcome back our Lions!
Clark and Johnson, thank you for planning and delivering the PBIS overview for the staff. We are ready to GRRR!
Jackson, Gorham, Robinson, and Roth, thank you for outlining what collaboration will look like this year and for honoring our time to dig into curriculum and student needs. We are ready!
Hamilton and Clark, without your coordination of volunteers, grilling of hot dogs (hundreds!), and organizing games, our Lion on the "Lawn" event would have been a flop. Thank you for jumping in to make it a fun evening! Cope, thank you for your assistance in getting the grill to and from.
Thank you all for a warm welcome into the Lynnhaven Elementary family. It's going to be a GRRREAT year! -Dak Edwards
