Principal's Message
The sun is shining and Daylight Savings is not far away!
We would like to thank you for your hard work and efforts during our time here at Level 2. We are so pleased with the way that you are following Level 2 procedures on our school ground. We will continue to be in Level 2 for the rest of this term.
We have our Health Consultation available for you to give your much needed feedback on. It was posted on seesaw last week and copies are available at the school office if that is an easier format for you. Our consultation process will close on Wednesday 29 September.
Just letting you know that Gymsports 2021 will not go ahead as planned. It will be on the 2022 calendar.
Have a lovely week and take care.
God Bless you and your whānau.

PFC Calendars and More Fundraiser
This very popular Fundraiser is back for Term 3 …
Calendars… Cards… Diaries… Note Pads and more
You can have these treasured keepsakes of your child's art work…
Great for Christmas Presents.
Ordering details are being sent home this week, so please check the school bags.
Quick turn around for orders required, so please don’t delay if you wish to place an order for these items. Thank you for your support.
Can You Assist Akonga Hub?
Akonga Hub needs some assistance please…
We are thinking ahead to Mission Day next term. Akonga Hub has one or two craft ideas in mind, and hopes you can help with them sourcing a few items.
We are looking for any old crayons you may have at home - just drop in a bag into Akonga Hub or to the school office.
We also would like to borrow (please name) muffin pans (silicone/tin), or anything suitable for melting crayons in to varying shapes under high heat.
Also, does anyone have access to hand sized river stones, as we would appreciate a
supply of those also.
Thank you all so much in advance for supporting Akonga Hubs Mission Day crafts.
Free to a Good Home
We wish to recyle what was originally bi-fold track doors which divided a classroom and used as sound proofing. These doors are made from heavy duty materials, finished with autex covering. They could be cut down to a smaller size to be reinstated as a door, lining a wall or as staging, etc. Great for sound proofing (especially if you have a drummer in the house), but are quite heavy in their current state. These are available for viewing until end of term and can be obtained singularly or in bulk. Please contact Robyn 8895306. Thank you.

Our Parish
Did you know?
So much preparation goes into the celebration of Mass each week? (When not in Lockdown! ☹)
It can be something we don’t think about much or we may even take for granted but it takes many many hands faithfully contributing their time and talents to make the Mass the best it can be for the Glory and Praise to God.
From: the person who opens the Church, the children who greet us at the door and reverently Altar serve, the Musicians, the Singers who lead us in song, those that take the Children for their Liturgy, the Readers, those that bring up the Offertory Gifts and Collection, the Extraordinary Ministers of Communion, to those that make the cup of tea afterwards, all are important Ministries.
There are plenty of behind the scenes Ministries as well, the music needs to be chosen, the Prayer of the Faithful written, lawns mown, gardens maintained and the Church cleaned to name some. All this helps Father Mark deliver such good Pastoral Care to us.
If you feel called to assist in anyway please contact the Parish Office.
A plea from Ezekiel Trust Budgeting Service
We are running short of empty egg cartons to put the eggs in that we get donated – preferably the ones that hold 12 or 10 eggs, but at this stage we will take anything with a lid that holds eggs safely and securely!
I just thought I would put the call out there to our church community as you have been so wonderful in your responses so far. There is a collection box for egg cartons just inside the Baptist church door (in the foyer) or you can drop them on the food bank table just a little further in from the door. We are grateful for whatever you can supply.
Thank you lovely people – God bless you and keep you
