School Update
Dear Students & Families,
It was a good week at King!
Thank you, parents, for volunteering at the Back to School Picnic and for straightening-out the Maker Space area! All your work is truly appreciated.
We have made great strides at improving the traffic flow at King. We have improved our communication system for the walkers/parent and car pick-up and are continuing to work at making sure the bus pick-up is more efficient. We are the first location en route for student bus pick-up and then the buses leave for the other schools. Therefore, safety and efficiency are priorities
We had a robust discussion at PTO and I am working with Dr. Tremblay is getting you answers. I am also in communication with him and the other Framingham principals about the concerns related to EEE virus.
From Dr. Tremblay:
Given the now critical risk level of EEE, please note that the cancellation of outdoor activities from dusk until dawn is required, and in an abundance of caution and after consultation with the City's Department of Public Health, recess will need to be held indoors until the first frost of the season.
I look forward to great and safe week!
Sincerely,
Dr. Marguerite Lackard
Principal
