Final Transcripts
Graduation Day: Saturday, June 3, 2023 , 2:23 PM CEREMONY
Outdoor Ceremony: Saturday, June 3, 2023 at 2:23 p.m.
The ceremony has been planned by the senior class to be dignified and formal; we expect graduates to honor that decision and dress accordingly. Caps and gowns may not be altered in any way for the ceremony. All participants must wear flat soled shoes – no high heels on the turf field.
The Stadium opens at 1:23 p.m. to the public. No tickets are required if we are outdoors. The ceremony will begin promptly at 2:23 p.m. with the processional of graduates and faculty. The ceremony will end at approximately 3:45 p.m.
Rain or shine, the Auditorium will also be open for those who prefer to be inside. Entrance to the auditorium will be allowed after 1:40 p.m (or after graduates depart the auditorium if we have an indoor ceremony).
The ceremony is broadcast live on E-TV, channel 20, for those who prefer to watch from home in Eagan. It is also live streamed on the EHS website. It will be re-broadcast throughout the summer.
Indoor Ceremony: Sat., June 3, 2023 at 2:23 p.m.
A decision to change location will be made by 10:00 a.m. on June 3rd. Please check the EHS Website.
We're hoping for sunshine; however, if the ceremony needs to move indoors, free tickets will be issued for family member admission, to each graduate at the rehearsal on Friday, June 2nd: Three (3) tickets for Gym seating, and one (1) ticket for Auditorium seating to watch live on a big screen will be issued. Due to the size of our class, no extra tickets for the gym are available. However, extra seating with a big screen and not requiring a ticket, will be available in Lecture Room A on the main floor, and the Multipurpose Room (081) located near the East entrance.
Please note If we must move indoors:
- The Gym opens at 1:23 p.m. for ticket holders. No entry without a ticket!
- If the ceremony is moved indoors, graduates and faculty will be assembling in the Auditorium. They will move to the Gym at 2:10 p.m., after which entrance to the Auditorium will be permitted with a ticket.
- Once the Processional into the Gym begins, entry doors to the Gym may be closed by order of the Fire Marshall if seating capacity has been reached.

NOT PARTICIPATING IN THE JUNE 3rd CEREMONY?
Diplomas that are not picked up the afternoon of graduation will NOT be mailed out; this includes both on and off-campus graduates. Come to the EHS Office any weekday beginning Monday, June 5th and throughout the summer between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. to receive your diploma. We urge all graduates to pick up their diploma as soon as possible, or have a family member do so.
PARKING AND ENTRANCE TO THE VENUE ON JUNE 3rd
Our East lot (lower level) and Stadium lot will be reserved for families and guests of graduates. Stadium entrances are on the south end of the field. Once those lots are full and closed, the next choices are the Northview Park lots off of Northview Park Blvd. (near the Tennis courts). Please be aware that parking restrictions on neighboring streets will be enforced.
If the Graduation Ceremony is moved indoors:
The entrances to our Gym are on the north side through the Auxiliary Gym doors, or the East entrance of the school. Family members, please do not park in the South Lot – it is reserved for faculty, staff and graduates.

Graduation Rehearsal
Senior Picnic - Pizza!
REHEARSAL & SENIOR PICNIC: FRIDAY, JUNE 2, 2023
All seniors will report to their classes as usual for Periods 1 – 2 and PAWS on Friday, June 2. After PAWS, 9:40 AM, our graduates will report to the Main Gym for the Program and Rehearsal. This will include the awarding of Class Bests for 2023 (voted on by the seniors).
Graduation Rehearsal will take place in the Gym beginning at 10:15 a.m. and end at approx. noon. It is very important for all students (off-campus and early grads) to attend this entire rehearsal for the following reasons:
Students learn seating assignments and practice crossing the stage (seating is not in alpha order).
Name readers verify each student's name and its pronunciation as they practice crossing the stage.
Special Needs parking permits will be handed out to seniors who have relatives who require one.
Tickets to be used for seating on Graduation Day (if the ceremony has to move indoors) are issued. Tickets will be given to each graduate at the end of rehearsal: three (3) for seating in the Gym and one (1) for the Auditorium that has a large screen for live viewing.
Extra seating not requiring a ticket will be available in Lecture Room A and the Multipurpose Room located near the East entrance if we move indoors on June 3. The ceremony will be live on a large screen in these 2 rooms.
The picnic will start immediately after the rehearsal. We will be offering pizza and chips (students should supply their own drink) for all seniors for free- if they ordered the lunch. (Deadline was May 3 to order).
SENIOR PRIVILEGES
Seniors in good standing academically, financially (no outstanding fees/fines) and behaviorally will attend a class meeting on Monday, May 15th and promise continued good attendance and behavior (no Senior Skip Day) during Senior Privilege time. This promise enables seniors to participate in a number of privileges, which includes not needing to attend the last three (3) days of school, which this year are June 5-7 thus making them exempt from Final Exams on June 6 and 7.
