Apply for FIRST LEGO League
Applications for FIRST LEGO League (FLL) are now available for students entering grades 4 to 8 in all elementary schools, Greene, and Junior High. FLL involves research, robotics, presentations, and teamwork. Download the form at http://sycamorerobotics.weebly.com/ and follow all instructions. Applications need to be postmarked by Saturday, May 20. We also need volunteer coaches. Please indicate on the form if you are interested or know someone interested.
Fidget Spinners
We have been having some issues with children bringing fidget spinners (AND ALL TYPES OF FIDGETS) to school. The spinners are highly distracting to students and those around them. Children are trading them, loosing them and spinning them instead of doing their work. We would like to ask that the children please keep these at home. If a student has one, it will be taken from them and turned into the office. A parent must come to the school office to retrive it. This also applies to our Champions program and all school busses. Thank you for your cooperation.
