Meet Mrs. T.Williams
All About Me
My name is Tracie Williams and I am excited about working with you and your child this school year as the new school counselor for Robinson School. I have been teaching at Robinson school for the past 18 years. I am an advocate for all students, families ,and education.
A little about me.... I have been married to my wonderful husband for 11 years. We have two adorable children who we like to call our dynamic duo. I love to participate in 5k races. (I can walk really fast) My favorite seasons are Spring and Fall.
Some of my favorite things… Cute &colorful socks, I love going to the beach, outdoor festivals, FOOD, music, bowling, and movies. I admire Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
Other Activities…. Sunday school, (I like getting rewards from my teacher), painting, helping others, I volunteer with the Achiever’s League, the Autism Society of Alabama and other organizations. I am also a Girl Scout Troop Leader.
Education…. I graduated from Alabama State University in 1997 with a B.S. in Elementary Education and in 2004 with a Masters in School Counseling.
My mantra ..... Confidence Builds Character. It is imperative we teach our children to love and accept themselves, to be leaders, take responsibility for all actions. When you make mistakes, accept them and try again. Success comes in many different shades and ways.
Favorite Quote….”If you can’t fly then run, if you can’t run then walk, if you can’t walk then crawl, but whatever you do you have to keep moving forward.”- Dr. Martin Luther King"
