What is this 'Beautycounter' I speak so highly about?
Beautycounter is steadily expanding across the US. We are thrilled to announce that we are now 10,000 consultants strong, but we have a long way to go!
To give you a better picture, Mary Kay Cosmetics has 2.4 Million consultants world wide, Arbonne has 224,215 consultants in the US and Rodan & Fields has 75,000.
Beautycounter is also the fastest growing cosmetic company in the country right now. We grew by over 500% last year and have already hit 400% growth and we are just starting the fourth quarter.
Legislation has been introduced into congress to put better, stronger regulations on the cosmetic and personal care product industry. It is a $22 billion a year market that has just a laughable 1.5 pages of legislation attached to it- and only 11 ingredients banned, vs. the EU which bans over 1,400 ingredients.
Only 10% of the chemicals we use in our care products have safety data attached to them. It is truly scary to realize how much this industry is getting away with.

Beautycounter has the strictest ingredient selection process in the United States.
Beautycounter has taken it upon themselves to self-regulate to the highest standards possible. We ban over 1,500 ingredients we know to be harmful. Anything associated with possibly being a carcinogen, an endocrine disrupter or is known to be associated with fertility issues is banned. We have compiled our 'Never List' which is our first line of defense and our promise to never, ever have any of these ingredients in our products.
Gregg Renfrew is our founder and CEO. As a mom of 3 she was startled to learn the lack of safe care products on the market and lack of regulation. She was told time and time again it was impossible to create high performing skin care products and cosmetics. Guess what? She did it! And she brought some amazingly strong and smart women with her!
Mia Davis is our head of Health and Safety. She is formerly from the campaign for Safe Cosmetics and is dedicated to educating others on the safety of their products. She blew the whistle on BPA and lobbied to get that chemical banned from our children's baby bottles.
Our head of Creative Design is Ms. Christy Coleman, celebrity makeup artist and the first artist in the business to clean up her kit. She has the highest standards for performance, with clients like Heidi Klum and Alessandra Ambrosio her job requires nothing but perfection. She has created a line of safe and effective makeup and skin products with unparalleled results. There is no other luxury skin care out there like Beautycounter.
