Pre-Conference Questionnaires and Conference Guides

Please take the time to fill out the pre-conference questionnaire below for each of your children. This questionnaire will provide important information for your child's teacher to make the most of their time with you during your conference. Return the form to your teacher before Wednesday, March 17th. A hard copy of the questionnaire was sent home in your child's Friday folder last week, and another will be sent along with your child's report card on Monday, March 15th. You also can complete the form electronically by clicking the button below.

You will also be receiving a conference guide that provides suggestions for how to make the most of the time you have with your child's teacher. Please take the time to review this information, along with your child's report card, prior to your conference.

The JC Playground is Reopening!

As of Monday, March 15th, we are happy to announce that our playgrounds will be open! We are adhering to the following guidelines:

  1. Students will sanitize their hands before getting on the equipment and when finished playing on the equipment.

  2. Students will keep a safe distance from one another

  3. Students will wear masks on the equipment

  4. We will only allow one class on that part of the playground at a time (classes will take turns on different days)

These mitigation strategies only work if parents also follow them after school. We ask that parents carry sanitizer and have the students use it before entering the playground. All students should have masks on while playing on the equipment. Please support us in keeping our students at school!

Planning for the 2021-2022 School Year

It may seem early, but we are working on planning for the 2021-2022 school year! An important part of our planning is determining school enrollment. Please take a moment to click on the button below and complete the brief form below to let us know whether or not your child will be returning to Julian Curtiss next year. Even if your plans are uncertain, knowing that will help us as well.

If you have any questions, please contact Chris in the Main Office at 203-869-1896.

Thank you!

Julian Curtiss Fun Run Fundraiser

We are excited to kick off our Julian Curtiss Fun Run fundraiser on 3/30. Our goal is to raise $10,000 for resources to enhance learning in this unique year and to strengthen our school community.

Our school has always relied on fundraising to provide exceptional opportunities to enhance student learning. And this year, we have more needs than we’ve ever had before, which means we need your support more than ever.

We completely understand if your family is not in a position to financially support the school right now. You can still be involved by simply SHARING about our fundraiser with friends and extended family online at Sharing IS supporting!

Just as we worked to safely begin school this year, we are also safely hosting this essential fundraiser based on our school’s current guidelines. We’ll send more details, as we get closer to our kick off.

Key dates to remember:

  • Donating Opens - 3/16

Register on FUNRUN.COM, SHARE, & GIVE!

  • Fundraiser Kick Off - 3/30

  • Event Day - 4/8

We are grateful for our Julian Curtiss family! Thank you for your support this year. We all need it!
