Free Breakfast & Lunch for ALL Students
All Madison County Schools have been approved for a USDA waiver allowing us to provide breakfast and lunch meals for virtual, remote, and traditional learners at no cost to families. We are approved beginning Thursday, September 3, and ending December 31.
Please continue to complete and submit applications for free and reduced meals as usual so correct statuses will be in place when the waiver ends.
This applies to anyone 18 years old or younger--they do not need to be enrolled in HGHS.
*Yes, you read that correctly! All students will be able to eat breakfast and lunch at no cost from now until December 31. This applies to virtual/remote students who are picking up meals and also to students who are returning to school. If you are picking up meals for your children, you can pick them all up at one school instead of driving to each child's school.
Kick Cancer T-Shirt Orders for October 2nd Football Game
On October 2, Hazel Green HS will be hosting the second annual "Kick Cancer" football game to benefit cancer charities. This is a yearly event in which we choose a new charity to support each year. One of the goals of the game is to "pink out" the stadium. We are asking everyone that comes to the game to be dressed in pink. We are selling the official "Kick Cancer" T-shirt for $20. The person wearing the shirt will be admitted free to the football game on October 2. The players will be wearing pink jerseys, and the "HG" on the field will be painted pink. Pink will be everywhere! Please help us help these charities by purchasing a T-shirt and supporting our Trojans in this worthy cause. Please share this, so we can sell as many shirts as possible! Deadline for pre-order is September 11, 2020. Checks can be made out to HGHS TDC. Payment can also be made at MySchoolFees on the HGHS website.Kick Cancer T-Shirt Order Form
