Science Fair

Next week we will be choosing topics! They will decide on 3 topics and choose 1 topic from there. Be on the lookout for a letter home! Please remember, the chosen topic must have teacher approval.


Yearbooks are now on sale! Visit the appropriate link below, select the correct school or enter the correct code (listed below), and submit your order. The deadline to order will be March 6 for EC-RMS.

Spring Break Child Care

Spring break is right around the corner! School will not be in session March 7-11. For those needing a childcare option, check out STRIPES 360's Cub Care program for elementary students. Enrollment at


The third annual ROAR Run 5K and 1 mile fun run will take place on Saturday, May 7 this year! More details are forthcoming regarding registration, event details and our elementary and RMS running club opportunities.

Please consider participating in the race or as a volunteer!

Over 1000 people were in attendance last year, and we are looking forward to another great event in 2016!

Next Week at a Glance

  • Writing: We will publish our informative writing pieces and start new narrative writing.
  • Foundations and Reading: We will continue learning about the theme of a text.
  • Math: We begin learning about fractions
  • Content: We will finish up learning about the Branches of Government.

Important Dates!

  • February 12: K-12 Progress Reports Distributed

  • February 15: Snow Day Make-Up, school WILL BE in session


  • Please call and let the office know if there will be any changes in transportation at the end of the day!
  • We have one snack each day at either 10:30 or 2:00. Please make sure your child DOES NOT bring any snack that has nuts in it. We have students with food allergies.
  • Reading Logs are due EVERY day except Monday! Reading at home is so important!
