Georgia Milestones on My Mind
Please express to your scholar that they are not to worry when it is time to test. The key to success is preparation, and their teachers have been preparing them throughout the school year. There is nothing better than a quick review before testing. Please use the links below to access the Georgia Department of Education resources to assist your scholar in becoming familiar with what they can expect for the upcoming Georgia Milestones testing session. This can be a great family engagement activity and you can also encourage them to do their best. Please also ensure that they have plenty of sleep and are on time for school during testing. I have great confidence in knowing that they will reach their potential of attaining a Proficient and/or Distinguished Level status!

Rising 7th Grade Immunization Requirements
Greetings Shiloh Rising 7th Grade Families:
Please read the attached letters for more information about the immunization requirements for all scholars entering 7th Grade. They will be required to have one dose of Tdap (tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis booster) and one dose of MCV4 (meningococcal conjugate vaccine). Although your scholar’s current certificate may not have an expiration date or may be marked complete for school, the law requires that a current certificate be submitted verifying that the student has received both of these vaccines before they enter 7th Grade.

Please Continue to Follow the Car Rider Unloading (AM) & Loading (PM) Procedures
Please Do Not Drop Your Scholar Off Prior to Reaching Their Designated Area
On Monday, April 11th, we began the implementation of our new procedures for our Morning (AM) Drop Off for car riders.
As shown in the adjacent image, all 6th-grade car riders will travel down the middle lane of the parking lot and drop their students off at the front corner of the building. For your scholar's safety, please unload (AM) and load (PM) within the grass strip.
All 7th and 8th-grade car riders will travel around the curve and drop their students off by the courtyard. For your scholar's safety. please unload (AM) and load (PM) with the courtyard lane/loop.
This practice is reflective of our afternoon pick-up process. We ask that you all join us in continuing to ensure that we have a smooth morning and afternoon drop-off/pick-up process where all of our students are safe and able to reach their destinations in a timely manner.
Thank you for your continuous support as we continue to strive in making our community great!
