Report Cards Will Be Mailed
Expect to receive report cards in the mail during the week of June 5th. Report Cards will be held for students who have not turned in their chromebook, charger, textbooks, media center books or who have unpaid financial obligations. Visit the school during office hours to resolve all holds and pick up held report cards.
Summer Office Hours
The HHS Main Office will be open Monday through Thursday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. We will be closed on July 3rd and 4th. Call 706-937-6464.
Accomplishments for 2022-23 School Year
Summer Required and Extra Credit Reading
Students who are taking Honors or AP (Advanced Placement) English classes beginning in the fall of 2023 have required summer reading. Visit the Summer Reading site for more information. Any student may also choose to complete the extra-credit summer reading opportunity. Students can read the book Audacity by Melanie Crowder. Completing the summer reading will earn students extra credit in their English and Social Studies classes. Join the Google Classroom tf4tuf5 for more information and to complete the extra-credit.
Summer Kids Camps
Heritage High School teachers and students will hold several summer camps for younger children. Click here for dates and information about ArtKids, Softball Camp, Dance Camp, Soccer Camp, Theatre Kids Camp, Mini Cheer Camp, Baseball Camp and Mini Generals Football Camp.
Summer Credit Recovery
HHS students have options to get ahead or to catch up through summer school and credit recovery. Credit recovery is designed for students who failed a required class and need to make it up. Summer credit recovery begins June 5th. Summer School is designed for students to take a class for the first time for credit. Click here for more information.
