What Are We Doing in Orchestra?

We have continued to work on our parade tunes and have completed the full sequence now with all classes, We have also spent a lot of time refining our playing of the National Anthem in preparation for our performance on Friday, Sept. 9th!


Parents, please take a moment and go though the orchestra handbook below. Once you have looked over it, please fill out our handbook acknowledgement form below. It is very important we have this signed form on file for each student.

Please make sure to get fees paid. The polos are coming in on Thursday before the National Anthem!!!

National Anthem Performance

Fine Arts Night is Friday, Sept. 9th!


All orchestra students will be performing the National Anthem on the field prior to the start of the game. We will perform with all the music programs from the entire Duluth Cluster. This counts as a summative assessment grade.


Students need to arrive at 5:30 PM in the DHS orchestra room. Please wear white orchestra polo shirt (students who have ordered one should receive this week), black pants and tennis shoes. Shirts should be tucked in or tied back. NO JEANS, SHORTS OR KHAKIS,


Be sure to sign in for attendance. Students can be picked up at 7:20 PM, or they may stay for the game and cheer on the wildcats!!!!
