Next week is Teacher Appreciation Week, and I invite you to join me in celebrating our amazing teachers! We know that teachers work incredibly hard every day to make sure that our students have the best possible learning experience. They are dedicated, passionate, and always willing to go the extra mile. During Teacher Appreciation Week, we want to show our teachers how much we appreciate all that they do. The Hawaii DOE launched the Speak Now HIDOE app to provide another means for students to report bullying incidents that happen on campus, on HIDOE transportation, or during HIDOE-sponsored events — digitally and anonymously, if they choose. The reporting tool can be downloaded from the Apple App Store or Google Play. Students can still report any incident in person to a trusted adult. Please see the links below for more information.
