CAMBRIDGE FARMERS' MARKET
Cambridge market is a good old-fashioned Farmers' Market with a lively atmosphere and a great selection of fresh, local goods brought to you by Waikato growers and businesses. Since 2010, this year-round outdoor market has taken place in a beautiful setting underneath the trees at Victoria Square in the centre of Cambridge.
This Farmers' Market is a great community market, a favorite spot for locals to shop and meet. Vendors and customers enjoy the unique connection between producers and consumers found at farmers' markets.
The Cambridge Farmers' Market offers Eftpos service and public toilets are located nearby.
A TripAdvisor review in September commented:
"We are lovers of all things markets, whether they be, car-boot/flea/growers etc. This Saturday farmers market, (8am to noon) has a real village feel about it, music playing, plenty of seating, many stall sellers, offering an assortment of wares, and tastings, the lettuce man was our fave, 5 bucks for a paper bag full of green goodies, the rocket is so peppery, perfect in a salad. All in all a perfect way to enjoy a sunny Saturday morning."
We'll be taking a chilly bin; feel free to bring one too.
Of course, the Cambridge shops, close to the market, are always great to visit, if you wish!
