Introduction
On this flyer we will be learning about photosynthesis and how it works, we will also learn of the three main parts in photosynthesis.
Photosynthesis? How does it work.
What is Photosynthesis
Photosynthesis is the process in which plants use water, sunlight, and carbon dioxide to produce food for the plant, oxygen , and helps the plant growth.
How Photosynthesis Happens
The plant takes in carbon dioxide through the small pores in the leaves, while the roots absorb water passing through the stem making it's way to the leaves of the plant, and the sunlight is absorbed by the chemical (chloroplast) from the leaves.
The Three Main Parts Of Photosynthesis
Asorbtion
The chlorophyll and carotenoid absorbs light, causing the water to split into hydrogen and oxygen. The oxygen is released, while the hydrogen goes to the E.T.C to make energy for the calvin cycle.
E.T.C
Movement of hydrogen across the thylakoid, providing energy to produce ATP,AND ADP.
Calvin Cycle
The Calvin Cycle takes place in the stroma using electrons. Carbon will enter and leave as sugar.
