Student Drop Off & the Bus Loop - SAFETY FIRST
In order to keep our students safe, we request that parents drop off their children or pick them up in the marked loading zones next to the school on 22nd Avenue NE. It is best if all parents drive in from 26th Street and turn south onto 123rd Avenue to pick up and drop off children. Our parking lot directly across from the school is also available as a waiting area for picking up students. Children must exercise caution at all times when crossing the street to the parking lot and gym. We ask that all parents respect the βBuses Onlyβ signs in the parking lot behind the school.
Many students walk along that area on their way to and from classes, and their safety is a priority. Our Safety Patrol consists of students in grades 6 and 7 who assist students in keeping safe in the crosswalk on 22nd Avenue NE. Please stop when they have their flags up and remain stopped until they put their flags down and return to the shoulder area. Also, please be sure to use your signals to indicate your intention at the NL intersection. Their safety is of the utmost importance.

Season 4 Sports for Track is Open in FamilyID - Registration for 7th-grade Track opens Friday, March 4th. For your convenience, click on the link https://www.familyid.com/organizations/north-lake-middle-school to register. Note: if you registered your student previously in FamilyID, please use the same account to register for a new sport so you don't have to fill out the entire registration again. All students must have a sports physical on file prior to the first practice. If your students(s) participated in a sport prior to this season, a copy is already on file in the office. Your student(s) must also have ASB and you can purchase this online by visiting the NL website under Athletics and Clubs or come to the office and pay by cash, check, or card. The cost is $15.00. If you have already purchased ASB, you don't have to do this again. Track is a non-cut sport. For additional questions, please reach out to coach Eacrett.
Practices will be held on the North Lake field from 2:50 to 5:00 pm, Monday through Thursday. Parents will need to pick their student(s) up after practice as we will not have an evening activity bus. We will share the date of the first practice as soon as we have the final schedule and also share the track schedule and team picture date.
