ImPact testing is required for Wrestling. There will be a group test at SSMS on Monday, February 6 at 3:45 PM in the SSMS Media Center. Please contact Frederica Manning at Frederica.Manning@uchealth.org to make an appointment (REQUIRED). Students must bring their chromebook, consent form and check for $15. Payments can be made in cash (exact amount) or by check (payable to UC Health).

If you or someone you know needs access to food resources, we’ve included a few below.

• The Heart of Steamboat provides free community dinners on Thursdays from 5-6:30pm (with some exceptions - see website for schedule and menu). You are welcome to sit down and share a meal or take your meal to go.
• LiftUp provides food to anyone in need through their food bank. More information can be found here. And if you are in need of other food resources, PLEASE check out this resource list here.

Northwest Colorado Health offers School-Based Health in the Steamboat Springs School District. Dental hygiene appointments are available for students at the Steamboat Springs Middle School on select Wednesdays from 9-4. All SSSD students will have access to services which include cleanings, fluoride treatments and dental screenings. Medicaid and Private Insurance accepted. Northwest Colorado Health ofrece Salud Basada en la Escuela en el distrito escolar de Steamboat Springs. In addition to lunch discounts, this benefit extends to various other services/activities that are offered throughout the school year (field trips, sports, etc.). In order to receive free and reduced services, new forms need to be filled out each school year. Free and Reduced forms can be submitted online through your Infinite Campus Parent Portal account under “Applications/Forms.” You may also access the forms on the middle school and district websites under Nutritional Services as well at the front office at the middle school.

These programs are opportunities for teens to better their communities and regions through trail and conservation work. This is a great entry-level position for youth to gain job readiness, skills, and personal growth opportunities. RMYC pays for the members' work (exempt from SLC), can assist in transportation to and from the crew meeting location at the beginning and end of each session, provides all meals to participants during their sessions, and can provide gear if needed.
