Is the Cañada Game fun to play?
You tell us! - feel free to download this table top board game from 1973, print it out, and play it. If you have a group you can reserve one of our study rooms using this link.

For all you aspiring Shakespearean Scholars out there, or even if you just have to write a final about a play, we have a great new tool for you. The JSTOR database has combined with the Folger Shakespeare Library to help you find articles about Shakespeare's thirty-seven plays.
JSTOR's Understanding Shakespeare database lets you click on any line in any Shakespeare play and connect automatically to all the essays and articles in JSTOR that contain, discuss, or analyze that line. If you're curious about what a line means or its history, this is an easy way to review the existing body of scholarship. It's also an easy way to find more sources for the essay you're writing!
Here's what it looks like:

Not into Shakespeare? - Maybe you'd rather read a comic book or graphic novel . . .
Comics are great for summer reading, and we have an awesome section we keep up to date just for you. Come on in and check out some new stuff (or just read them in one of our comfy chairs).
