Summer is here and we hope you have started logging in your minutes/hours into i-Ready!

We are still deciding the fate of Mr. Ramsey (glitter bomb? makeup? pie? pizza?) and in the meantime continue to login and complete those modules!

Yearbook Update from Lifetouch

Due to the COVID-19 mandates on social distancing some of our plants have had to close and others are working with a reduced staff and have put us a few weeks behind schedule.

Unfortunately we still do not have exact shipping info yet but will let you know as soon as we get any information (Estimated to be received sometime in July).

Your patience with us at this time is greatly appreciated as we move forward through these unprecedented times.

NLMUSD Nutrition Services

We will re-start distributing meals, Monday through Thursday beginning on Monday, June 8th until the end of Summer School on Thursday, July 16th.

NLMUSD children ages 1-18 years of age will receive 1 breakfast and 1 lunch daily on Monday, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. On Thursdays children will receive 2 breakfasts and 2 lunches. Meals will not be distributed on Fridays.

To ensure the integrity of the food program, we ask that you be prepared to provide your child’s iReady ID number, student ID number, or first and last name if the child is not of school age just yet.

If you need Lactaid or Soy Milk, there is a handout on our website that you may print and bring. We will do our best to accommodate.

Meals will be served (walk up only) 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. at the following locations only:

  • Sanchez Elem. 11960 162nd St., Norwalk, 90650

  • Foster Road Elem. 13930 Foster Rd., La Mirada, 90638

Masks must be worn by parents, children and staff

Maintain 6 feet distance between you and everyone.

If you are sick, sneezing, coughing or have a temperature, please stay home.

The NLMUSD is not responsible for food once it leaves the property.

2020-2021 Online Registration Snapcode

NLMUSD sent out individualized snapcode link via email on Wednesday, May 20th.

Following Information is required for Online Registration:

We are excited to announce online Returning Student Registration for the upcoming school year! This process replaces the paper forms sent home at the beginning of each school year. Your Returning Student Registration at Norwalk La Mirada Unified School District is now available online. Returning Student Registration opened on May 23rd, 2020.
