Materials Distribution Drive-thru
As we get ready for the first day of school, Tuesday, September 8th, we want to invite you to a drive-thru materials pick up event. In order to safely get the materials to you, we will be using a plan similar to the book return in the spring. Please read the information below regarding our materials pick up days September 3rd - 4th, and do not hesitate to reach out with any questions. The district has purchased materials to support your learner(s), purposefully selected to enhance their experience while learning at home. We hope your learner enjoys them and they support rigorous learning opportunities for your child!
Materials will vary based on grade level and may include items such as math materials, physical education materials, and more. Kindergartners and new students will also receive their technology devices. This is the first materials pick up event. We anticipate more as we will need to distribute books for students and deliver other learning materials. **We have passed out all the materials that we have received so far. We anticipate that we will receive additional materials that will be distributed at a later date.
Current 3rd Graders ONLY - please bring your iPad to return when you come to pick up materials and have it in your trunk or back seat for staff to easily access at a safe distance. Third graders transition to Chromebooks and you will receive yours with your materials. You MUST return your iPad in order to receive a Chromebook.
If you are unable to make any of the dates and times listed, please reach out to your classroom teacher to schedule another time.
WEATHER PERMITTING- WE WILL HAVE TABLES LOCATED IN THE PARKING LOT FILLED WITH ALL THE LOST AND FOUND ITEMS FROM LAST YEAR. PLEASE TRY AND LOOK OVER THESE WHILE YOU ARE HERE PICKING UP YOUR MATERIALS.
We'd love to see your 1st day of virtual learning photos!

NEW FACES AT MEADOW VIEW
Mrs. Jegadeesan- ESL Assistant
This is my 3rd year working as an ESL assistant for our district. My first year I was working at Token Springs, 2nd year I was at Token Springs and Eastside. This year I will be working part-time here and part-time at Horizon. ( My son Tanish Premnath attended 4th and 5th grade at MV.)
Before this position, I started my journey in the school district as a substitute. I am very proud and happy about it because as a sub I gained great exposure to different schools and students. It was a great opportunity and experience which really helped me to grow into a full-time employee. I am very thankful for that.
I always enjoy working with kids and learning about different cultures. I am very excited to be part of the MV team. Looking forward to getting to know each of you.
Ms. Linsmeier- Music Teacher
Hello, Otters! My name is Ms. Linsmeier and I am your new music teacher. I am so excited to meet you and get our new school year started! I love singing, dancing, being outside, my cats, traveling, the color green, and corny jokes. Send me a silly joke at rmlinsm@sunprairieschools.org and I’ll send you one back! I can’t wait to meet you all and make music together. See you next week.
