Did you know? Technical Theatre is available as CTE option for students who love to be involved in the theater, but aren't interested in acting. These students learn how to design and build the sets, do makeup, costuming, lighting, and sound, just to name a few. At the end of the second year and upon completion of the exam, students earn OSHA 10 certification, and for students who wish to continue, there is an internship possible for year 3. The next time you attend an event at the CPAC, look for our interns....they'll be the students helping our Theater Manager make the event as successful as possible.

Upcoming events:

• January 8 and 9: ASVAB for all Seniors and any interested Juniors. This test will help students discover and understand their strengths and where those strengths can be turned into careers and other opportunities. The ASVAB is administered by the military with no strings attached.
• January 10: Elevate 4 Tomorrow conference for Juniors
• February 13 and 14: EVIT on campus to meet with potential students
• February 27: ACCUPLACER test, administered by CAC
