The Home Stretch

June 1, 2017

We've reached the final month of the school year! The sun is shining, the weather is warming up, but we still have work to do (and fun to be had). June is a busy time here at LHS, with school trips, the Senior Prom, awards banquets, and of course Graduation, just to name a few! Let's finish strong, Cardinals!

Clean-Up Crew

Fifteen LHS students volunteered their time on Saturday, May 20th to help clean up a section of the Delaware-Raritan canal off of Route 1 in Lawrence. The project was the brainchild of community member Chris Sullivan, who reached out to see if there would be any students interested in cleaning up the community. Ms. Debbie Randall and Ms. Kathy Buck presented the opportunity to their AP Biology and AP Environmental classes. Equipped with nets, gloves and bags - a great day was had and a lot of trash has been removed from the historic canal site in Lawrence! We are so proud of our volunteers! Check out a few pictures below!
