Message from the Principal
As we head into 4th quarter, we have several items I would like to bring to your attention! But first, I would like to thank Jessica Keen, Janna Clifton, Michelle Bell-Wilson, Alicia Green, Lindsey Hecht, Jessica Kinder, Payton Jones, and other members of our PTO who make our Bingo Night possible. A lot of hard work goes into this event and proceeds will go towards our Play Day!
We would like to spread the word to families that kindergarten enrollment is open. Having accurate enrollment numbers early helps us make staffing decisions. So, if you know of a family that has a school age child, please pass this information along to them and have them call the office at 243-9590. Please see the link for more information: Kindergarten enrollment flyer.
Additionally, our incoming kindergarten-4th grade students have the opportunity to enroll in FREE ALL DAY summer school hosted at North Elementary June 1-22. We are offering FREE breakfast and lunch to all students. We would love to have everyone sign up and attend! Summer School Enrollment form: click here.

Read A Thon
North really got in the game and READ! Our school read a total of 33,541 minutes! We have also raised $5,270!! That’s amazing!!! We will use the money raised for purchasing books for the summer reading program and other literacy needs for our school.
Every student that created a Read-a-Thon page earned a bookmark. Students that had a sponsor earned an extra recess.
The classes that earned a pizza party were Mrs. Rottler's 1st grade class and Mrs. Bennett's 4th grade class.
The classes that earned a snack and scooters/hula hoops were Mrs. Smith's Kindergarten class and Mrs. Newman's 3rd grade class.
The student that earned a reward for reading the most minutes was Lucas Jackson in Mrs. Newman's class!
Our students had a great time reading and participating in the reading activities at school throughout the Read-a-Thon.
Thank you for all your participation and help for our school! Keep on reading!
Mrs. Limbaugh

TEST DATES
3rd and 4th Grade MAP Testing May 9-12
During testing, it is very important for your child to be here. Please do not schedule doctor or dental appointments that will take your child out of school during test time. It is important that your child gets plenty of rest and eats a good breakfast in order for them to do their best.
Mrs. Isaac
Notice from our Nurse
Please do not send your students to school wearing flip flops. They break easily and are not sturdy enough, which increases the likelihood of injury. Although the warmer weather means sandals are in season, everyone is safer at school in sturdier shoes.
Thank you,
Nurse Kimber

Our ART SHOW (for ALL students), will be featured at the Night of the Arts, on Wednesday, April 6th, from 5-7 pm at North Elementary. Please join us for a fun night of featured artwork, music, food trucks, and more! More information will be passed out over time. Thanks, families!
